Half-bridge strain-gauge load cell rated to 50 kg for building digital scales and weight sensors with an HX711 amplifier.
This is the flat body-scale type of load cell: a metal frame carrying a three-wire strain-gauge half bridge, rated for loads up to 50 kg. Its output is only a few millivolts, so it is read through a 24-bit amplifier/ADC such as the HX711, which talks to an Arduino or ESP32 over a simple two-wire clock/data interface. Cells are normally used in sets of two or four, wired together into a full Wheatstone bridge under the corners of a platform. Typical projects include bathroom and luggage scales, beehive and tank monitors, and force-measurement rigs.
