AC Voltage Module Sensor
Isolated AC mains voltage sensor module that outputs an analog signal for measuring voltage with an Arduino or ESP32 ADC.
The module uses a small precision voltage transformer to isolate the mains side, followed by an op-amp stage that turns the stepped-down waveform into an analog signal centred around half the supply voltage. A trimmer adjusts the gain, and the output goes straight to an ADC pin on an Arduino, ESP32 or similar board, which calculates the RMS voltage in software. It is commonly used in energy monitors, under/over-voltage protection and generator or inverter monitoring. The input terminals carry mains voltage, so wire it with the power off, insulate every exposed connection and keep it in a closed enclosure.
