DC-DC Boost ZVS Module (45–390 V)
High-voltage ZVS boost module that turns an 8–32 V DC input into an adjustable 45–390 V output at up to 40 W, for experienced builders.
This boost converter raises a low-voltage DC input to a high DC output that can be set anywhere from about 45 V to 390 V with the onboard trimmer, using zero-voltage switching (ZVS) at around 75 kHz to keep losses low, with up to 88% efficiency. It accepts 10–32 V by default, or 8–16 V for 3-cell lithium packs and 12 V systems by changing the jumper on the back, and delivers up to 0.2 A or 40 W continuous (about 70 W peak). It is aimed at experienced builders working on high-voltage bench supplies, Nixie tube drivers, capacitor charging and physics demonstrations, and the load, wiring and insulation must be rated for the voltage you set. The output can hold a dangerous charge after power is removed, so discharge it before touching the board and never work on it while it is live.
