Infrared Remote Receiver Module
38 kHz infrared receiver module that picks up TV-style remote control signals so Arduino, ESP32 and Raspberry Pi projects can be controlled wirelessly.
The module is built around a 38 kHz IR receiver of the VS1838B type, which filters and demodulates the carrier from a standard infrared remote and outputs the data pulses as a digital signal. It runs on 3.3–5 V and needs only three connections, VCC, GND and a signal pin to any GPIO, and most versions include an LED that flashes as codes arrive. Libraries such as IRremote decode common protocols like NEC, so a spare TV or car-stereo remote can drive your project. It is a quick way to add remote control to lamps, fans, robots, media players and menu-driven gadgets.
