MMA7361 Accelerometer Sensor Module
Three-axis analog accelerometer module with selectable ±1.5 g or ±6 g range for tilt, motion and vibration sensing projects.
The MMA7361 is a low-power, three-axis capacitive accelerometer that outputs a separate analog voltage for each of the X, Y and Z axes, so it can be read directly on three ADC pins without any digital protocol. A g-select pin switches between ±1.5 g for high sensitivity and ±6 g for larger movements, a sleep pin cuts consumption when idle, and a 0g-detect output flags free-fall. The chip itself runs at 3.3 V, and most breakout boards add a regulator so they can also be powered from 5 V. Typical uses include tilt sensing, self-balancing robots, motion-activated alarms and simple vibration logging.
