NE555 Adjustable Frequency Pulse Generator Module
NE555-based pulse generator module with a potentiometer-adjustable frequency, used as a simple clock or square-wave source for LED flashers, stepper drivers and electronics lessons.
The classic NE555 timer runs in astable mode on this board, producing a continuous square wave at roughly 50% duty cycle whose frequency is set with the onboard trimmer, with a power LED to show it is running. It works from 5–12 V, and the output can drive an LED, a buzzer, a transistor or the step input of a stepper-motor driver. Because the duty cycle shifts slightly as you adjust the frequency, it is best suited to clock and pulse duties rather than precise PWM. It is a favourite for teaching timers, testing counters and logic, and building flashers and simple tone generators.
