Four Infrared Sensor Array for Line Following Robots

3.0 JOD
In Stock — 1 available

Four-channel reflective infrared sensor board that detects black or white track lines for line-following robots built on Arduino or ESP32.

The kit is made up of a 44 × 40 mm control board and four small 25 × 12 mm reflective infrared probes that connect to it, so you can space the probes across the front of your robot to suit the width of the track. With several probes in a row, a robot can tell how far it has drifted from a line and steer back proportionally. Each channel compares the reflected signal against a threshold set by its own trimmer on the control board and gives a clean digital HIGH/LOW output with a status LED. It runs from 3.3–5 V, mounts with M3 screws and connects directly to Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi GPIO pins, for line-following and maze robots, edge detection and simple object counting.
